People come here to say things they cannot say anywhere else. That only works if the room stays safe. These rules keep it that way, and they are part of the Terms of Service.
What belongs here
True confessions, in your own words, as text. Doubts, regrets, desires, memories, things you carry alone. Confessions about your intimate life belong here too, as long as they stay in words that tell, not in graphic detail that shows. Content warnings exist for heavy themes: use them, they let readers choose.
What never belongs here
- Any sexual content involving minors, in any form. Zero tolerance: such content is blocked, retained encrypted as the law requires, and escalated to the authorities.
- Graphic sexual content, even between adults. This is not an erotica platform: a confession about intimacy is welcome, its explicit play-by-play is not. Our moderation follows the stricter Google Play threshold, so the same rule applies everywhere the service runs.
- Real names, addresses, phone numbers or anything that could identify you or another person. Anonymity protects everyone, including the people in your story.
- Threats, incitement to violence, or harassment aimed at a person or a group.
- Content that praises or instructs self-harm. If your confession touches self-harm, it can stay, and the app will show help resources alongside the editor; glorification or instruction cannot.
- Spam, advertising, or text generated just to fill the feed.
- Anything illegal to publish under the law that applies to the service.
Moderation, reports and sanctions
Every confession passes automated review, and part of it goes through human review. Anyone can report a secret from its page, and the public reporting form required by the Digital Services Act is open to everyone, no account needed. Reports get a motivated decision.
Sanctions are progressive: a rejected text, then temporary limits on publishing, then account restriction for repeated or severe violations. The scale of the violation decides the step; child sexual abuse material skips every step.
Age
The service is for adults, 18 and older. No exceptions.
The English version of this document prevails over any translation.
